“Let us not give up meeting together…but let us encourage one another.” Hebrews 10:25
We welcome women of all ages and all stages of life to the Ladies of Calvary. Our desire is to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through discipleship, fellowship, and service. In addition, we desire to build stronger relationships with one another in order to spur each other on to a deeper love of Christ.
Check out the church calendar page to find current Ladies’ events.
Bible Study –Dawn Mathews leads a Bible Study called True Woman 201 on Sunday mornings at 9:30 during the months of January to March.
Coffee & Contemplation – Brittany Sampson leads a book study that meets once a month in the church Library. Come enjoy some coffee or tea while sharing our thoughts of the evil workings of Satan on our everyday life based on the C.S. Lewis’ allegory The Screwtape Letters. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Eph. 6:12 The Bible tells us and so it is true but how often do we contemplate these truths of Satan midst our ever increasingly busy lives?
Throughout the year, organized events take place to strengthen our friendships among our younger and older, singles and marrieds, moms, or grandmas. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that encourages growing closer to Christ and one another as we share, laugh, and learn.
